Artist Statement / Bio
I have lived in the Chico all my life. I have been involved in some form of art since I was 12. I graduated from Chico State with a BA in art history and music. I owned a stained glass business for 10 years, after and during that, I sold paintings, illistarated books for Moon puplications and others, designed and silk screend posters, tee shirts,and fine art. I have always been trapped in the world between commercial and fine art. Not a bad trap to be in. I have been makeing jewlrey for the last 10 years, as well as selling original water-color-pencil "paintings",pencil drawings, pen and ink, collages,and the mixture of all.. I also design and paint art jewelry, under the name of "the only one"....i always have ten things to do in the time it takes to to do 5! so many ideas...so little time! Life is NEVER dull!
