Commonpath BASIC re-engagement Project
I see signs of Commonpath.org around town again. I begin to wear my commonpath t-shirt with a sense of hope, not as a relic of neglected potential.
BASIC website is going well, with large spikes of traffic when KZFR has dropped a BASIC track, or when I cynically write a blog post titled, "Swine Flu Blues" to get accidental traffic.
And yet, I long for the commonpath blogging days. The days when I would carelessly upload a track of new music so somebody...ANYBODY would hear the piece that took me 25 hours to make.
I long for the community of local art slaves. A social networking site that doesn't have "apps" and quizes or Mob Wars requests.
I look with pride to my old business at the top of the featured business list. This commonpath thing has a lot of untapped potential. I abandoned it about a year ago. My profile is still here though, with old music and strange writings that sound like somebody else now.
I am starting my Commonpath BASIC re-engagement Project today. I feel like I'm getting remarried.

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."
