Electric Canyon is a complete recording studio for musicians and audio related projects located in scenic Butte Creek Canyon, just outside Chico, California. In this natural setting, artists are able to create away from the urban distractions of town. Canyon views are offered in all six rooms of the profesionally designed facility.
Owner and engineer, Dale Price has been recording profesionaly in Chico since the early 1990's. In 1988, Dale founded ProSound Audio Services, which provides sound systems, lighting and technical expertise to events, in the Chico area and beyond. Dale graduated with a B.A. in Music, Option in recdoring Arts from Chico State in 1989. Since childhood, Dale experimented with recording and electronics using any technology at hand. Drums became his primary musical instrument which led him to perform in many Chico bands. As pro-recording technology became more affordable in the 1990's, Dale horizontally expanded his business into his true artistic passion, recording. Recording and live sound technologies and methods are intertwined making an engineer who masters both (or at least stays in business) invaluable to the craft.
Electric Canyon Recording is a culmination of Dale's sonic pursuit of quality audio in the in the studio and on the stage. Most importantly, he loves to share life's craft with others in the creative process.
