Artist Statement / Bio

Maria Phillips, Dolores Mitchell, and Giovanna Jackson are partners in this gallery, founded in 2004. This gallery supports a variety of artists and media and prides itself in its community involvement and outreach. In 2005, we received the Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts for hosting the Bidwell Park Centennial Plein Air Painting Competition where we raised money for the City of Chico's Chico Creek Nature Center. We are part of the yearly Snowgoose Festival Exhibition, hosting an Uptown/Downtown show complete with trolley connecting visitors to both venues.
