Twisted Toon Beauties

Local artsist Rachael Steiner has a gloriously unusual and psychedelic art show up at Bustolinis Delicatessen (800 Broadway Street). I would describe her style as a mix of Dr. Seuss and acid art, merged with the whimsical nature of children's art and the promiscuity of anime. Rachael's line work is very dynamic and her use of color very vibrant. I reccommend spending some time with each work seperately, all together they can be a bit overwhelming. During the reception Erin Lizardo, Lucas Sarcona, and Pat Hull and friends entertained and awed.
