A little slice of Mr. Pat Hull

So, the big CD Release show....SOON.

I've got the typical pre-show jitters.

Mostly, though, I'm incredibly proud to be involved with Pat's music, which was an instant desire since he first took the stage at a CRUX Real-Open Mic session.

I've worked with a lot of people across my various lives...in comic books, as a writer, at the CRUX, through graphic design...and every one of those experiences is unique. Working with Pat rates right near the top of my list. His sincererity and drive is a gift to the rest of us.

The 1078 Gallery has Sal Casa paintings on the wall until the 7th of June.

The 1078 has their own wine glasses. Pinky's out.

First Saturday Art Walk 5-03-08

Submitted by kyledelmar on May 4, 2008, 8:30pm.

It's only been a month since the last art walk, but the quantity and quality were worlds apart.

I rode my pogo stick to the brand new and much anticipated gallery in the Chico News and Review office building called “The Space.” The space debuted with Matt Goulart's “American Peak.”

CAMMIES PHOTOS

This year the CAMMIES really pulled through and delivered a quality awards ceremony show. Participation at this event doubled from last year and our local bands seemed gracious for the local music support shown by CN&R. The night included videos made by the bands, live performances, special guests, baby animal books, and more. Check out a video montage here!

Mae Shi, Pre, and Ronald Reagan @ the CRUX...lot of photos

Submitted by kyledelmar on April 24, 2008, 10:36pm.

Remember when the Ghostbusters killed the marshmallow man and the entire city gets covered in marshmallow cream? My shoes are still sticky.

Petrol Masses opened and closed the show with avant-garde dancing, marshmallow tossing, and rantings about Ronald Reagan (born of the blessed virgin).

I didn't make it inside, but I go a good view from the window.
