Spoken word makes a comeback

Humanity has subsisted on spoken word since the beginning of DNA.
With the advent of film, television, and the internet...this art form has been largely lost.
The time has come to bring it BACK.
On April 24th, 2008, the CRUX will offer up a spoken word event like NO OTHER.
The power of LIVE performance with a focus on words will stimulate even the most cynical bastard.
We have surprises planned...such as sketch artists drawing the performers real time and displaying their art on the walls as each new performer takes the stage.
The spoken word is a part of our heritage, it is in our BLOOD, and it demands respect.
The CRUX will give it the respect it deserves, and we hope you will join us for this diverse evening of words and passion.
